Darul Banath Yatheem Khana

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Darul Banath Yatheem Khana is an institution established with the noble objective of protecting and nurturing orphan girls from poor backgrounds. We provide them with food, clothing, accommodation, medical care, religious and worldly education, advanced Islamic studies, and vocational training. Under proper Islamic guidance and discipline, the girls are raised with dignity and moral values and are supported in marriage at the appropriate time.

This institution was founded on June 15, 1997, by the respected and renowned Islamic scholar of Central Kerala, the late P.T. Ustad (P.T. Aboobacker Maulavi), who was also well known for his knowledge in spiritual healing and architectural sciences. The institution began in a rented building with a single child.

By the infinite blessings of Allah and the sincere support of well-wishers, today the institution functions beautifully on its own land, caring for around thirty children.

With gratitude to Allah (Alhamdulillah), we have so far been able to arrange dignified marriages for around sixty girls who completed their education, providing each of them with ten sovereigns of gold ornaments under the supervision of the Yatheem Khana.

Facilities such as hostel accommodation, madrasa, prayer hall, and vocational training center for the orphan girls have already been completed. However, to continue educational activities and to arrange marriages for those who reach marriageable age after completing their studies, we depend solely on the support and cooperation of compassionate brothers and sisters who love and care for orphan children and seek the reward of Allah and closeness to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) in Paradise.

You may participate in this noble mission by offering Sadaqah, donations, charity, vows, or contributions in the name of deceased parents and others. You may also fully sponsor the protection of a child, provide food, clothing, and educational materials, and thereby share in the blessings of this initiative.

With this humble appeal, we request our dear brothers and sisters to make use of these valuable opportunities to participate in orphan care. We warmly invite you and your family members to visit the children in person and to attend prayer gatherings conducted at the campus.

May Allah grant us the ability (Tawfeeq) to become partners in the protection of orphan girls and thereby attain closeness to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) in Paradise. Ameen.
